Take a peek inside the Hertfordshire pub, which has undergone a major renovation during its three-week closing.
The Gate, on Station Road in Bricket Wood, closed the site for renovations in late January to make changes to the bar, restrooms and outdoor seating, giving it a new look.

It finally reopened two weeks ago, on February 24th.

The landlord, Ben Satchfield, said: “I am so excited to welcome my regular guests to The Gate.
“We created an amazing garden during the isolation, but the pub itself needed to be improved and I’m so proud of what has been achieved.”
