KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – The Guy B. Love Towers will officially reopen after a $ 6.5 million renovation.
Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation has renovated both the interior and exterior spaces of the residential complex. A certified butterfly garden and additional facilities for tenants will be announced at the ribbon cutting.
The goal of the renovation is to make the spaces more livable and more efficient for the elderly and infirm wards.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony, views of the new garden, renovated units and talks with KCDC representatives will take place at 2 p.m. March 22nd. Remarks by KCDC Executive Director Ben Bentley will make remarks after the ceremony.
